  • Nursing homes and Assisted Living Facilities in Washington:  This site lists most nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the state of Washington.  It is a site for the Washington Health Care Association.  http://www.whca.org/

  • DSHS Medicaid Regulations:  The DSHS Medicaid regulations and explanatory notes are available in the A-Z Manual.  Most of the nursing home regulations are in the Long Term Care Chapter.

  • Social Security Administration SSI Manual:  The SSI manual published by the Social Security Administration is available on line.  It is called the POMS Manual.  The Medicaid long term care regulations follow most of the SSI rules so this manual can be very helpful to answer questions about the Medicaid program as well as the SSI program.  http://www.ssa.gov/ssi/
