Inc. is a non-profit association that assists lawyers, bar organizations
and others who work with older clients and their families. The mission of
the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys is to establish NAELA members
as the premier providers of legal advocacy, guidance and services to
enhance the lives of people with special needs and people as they age. |

Barbara A.
Isenhour
has practiced law for over 33 years, focusing on the legal issues
facing the elderly and disabled persons of all ages. She is
recognized for her scholarship in the area of government benefits and
special needs trusts and regularly speaks to professionals on issues
in these areas of law. She received her law degree from the
University of Washington School of Law in 1973. She is a member of
the Special Needs Alliance. Barbara was selected as one of the city’s
best attorneys in Seattle Magazine
for three years and has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" in
Law and Politics Magazine
for the past five years. She and her husband have three sons. The
younger twin boys attend college in California.

Sean
R. Bleck has also
practiced for over 29 years, contributing comprehensive expertise in both
federal taxation and governmental benefits.
He has been actively involved in the development of many of the
governmental policies and regulations that affect his clients and is
sought out for counsel by professionals and community organizations.
He received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University,
his law degree from Georgetown University, and a LL.M (Taxation) from New
York University. Sean is a Past President of the Washington Chapter of the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and has twice been selected as its
member of the year. Sean was named as one of the city’s best attorneys
in Seattle Magazine for two years and has been selected as a "Super
Lawyer" in Law and Politics Magazine for several years. He and his wife have two
school-aged daughters.

Gretchen
Anders is a legal
assistant with the firm. When
you call for an appointment Gretchen is often the first person you will
speak with. She will get
information regarding your legal concerns and schedule an appointment for
you to meet with the attorney.

Laura Dangel is a legal assistant.
She is responsible for scheduling appointments, accounts receivable and
accounts payable. Questions you may have, if Isenhour Bleck can help
solve your issues should be directed to Laura. She has a background in
special needs trust administration and prepares deeds to transfer real
property. Outside of the office she can found sailing in the summer and
skiing in the winter. |

Dawn Glinsmann is the firm’s
administrator and also works with the attorneys on probate matters. In
addition to her work with the firm, Dawn is an art historian specializing
in Native American Art.

Linda Jakiel
is a legal assistant
with the firm. Her area of expertise is in working with clients on
Medicaid applications and monitoring the process of getting approval of
the applications with the Department of Social and Health Services.
She also manages probate administration and the annual reporting for
trusts and guardianship matters. Linda additionally commits time to
volunteer for Providence Hospice of Seattle and Lake Washington
Snowsports Council.
